Great research is key to uncovering insights that are often right in front of us but frequently go unnoticed. User empathy inspires the translation of insights into new solutions that are intuitive and enjoyable, giving our users noticeably better experiences.
Bringing my cross-functional team members and stakeholders along on our learning journeys, with strong communication and collaboration skills is key to actioning any research. I always seek to create empathy and understanding amongst key partners to drive alignment and create momentum for design that will delight our users.
I consistently identify the right tool for the objective at hand, sometimes triangulating between qualitative and quantitative methodologies for a more holistic level of user understanding when helpful. I am trained and experienced in many frameworks and methodologies with a hand full of personal favorites including Jobs To Be Done, Metaphor Elicitation, Storytelling and Design Thinking just to name a few.
